Flavio Prà's philosophy is simple and rigorous: to produce each wine in its right terroir, respecting history, tradition and grape varieties, with a real in-house zoning in the pursuit of excellence. Flavio's destiny and stubbornness have led him to select high hillside vineyards. The average altitude of his soils is around 300 metres above sea level. Viticulture at altitude is both a cross and a delight for the winemaker. It is a challenge that must be undertaken to obtain high quality and fresh grapes.
Flavio chose, for example, to plant his new vineyard at an altitude of more than 500 metres in Val D'Illasi. These vineyards, surrounded by woods, are in a paradise of biodiversity and the temperature range that is created gives the grapes a special flavour.
Tasting the grapes before harvest, they are completely different from an aromatic point of view, giving crispness, fruity and peppery notes of great finesse.
